• Successfully managed to switch from PAGODE to ASYCUDA at the port and airport of Douala (35 billion customs duties and taxes collected at the time). The results:

  • Full automation of customs procedures, resulting in greater transparency and accountability for each of the actors in the customs clearance chain.

  • Establishment of the Risk management unit to improve control and improve the collection of customs revenues.

  • Establishment of a system for monitoring the performance of the service within the cameroon Customs administration.

  • Gazing into the Mirror II (http://documents.worldbank.org/curated/en/690961468010899170/pdf/669370NWP0FREN0ood0Practice0010full.pdf) widely supported by the World Customs Organization (WCO) and the World Bank. This experience is currently being replicated in several countries and has inspired the development of a specific module in ASYCUDA World (ASYPM: ASYCUDA Performance Measurement).   • Supervision (as  IT Director) of the deployment of a secure Intranet for Cameroon customs with a professional messaging service intended to be used by all personnel of the Ministry of Finance of Cameroon.
